Fabulous shot Carlos, well done.

I think that it is so good (clarity, pose, composition) that this should have been posted as a larger and higher-definition image. At its current 500 x 336 pixels dimension and a very small 82.65 KB it is very "low resolution". Do you use the "save for web" option to save your final JPEGs?

I would suggest resizing to 800 pixels and then using the "save as" option and save at maximum image quality (value 12 in Photoshop) which would give a file size of about 350-400 KB.

Great bird - this would be a "lifer" for me.

Peço desculpa por responder em português mas é mais fácil.
Eu no Photoshop nunca faço "save for web"...faço sempre "save as" e ponho sempre 12 no "Image Quality".
Secalhar o problema foi ter postado através do URL da foto no Flickr, porque ela depois de redimensionsionada para 800 pixels até ficou com 240KB...

I understand. I use "Photobucket" instead of "Flickr" (I think it downgrades image quality too much) to assign a URL to an image, but I upload my best images to "PBase" which is much superior (cost is about $23 US per year, but well worth it).

Apologies for language barrier - I can read Portuguese much better than I can write it!!
