""I am running the only two bird ringing stations in eastern Turkey, in a very exciting part of the country (Kars/Igdir) , bordering Georgia, Armenia and Azerbeijan. One station is along Aras river, focused mostly on songbirds (but we catch waterbirds too) and other is on Lake Kuyucuk, focused on waders, ducks and raptors. We accept volunteers with ringing licenses. We cover all their expenses in Turkey. Would you or any of your friends would be interested in this? Our next field season is April 1-June 15.
